Debora Berti is a Senior Economist at Fifth Ocean Group, with more than 15 years of experience across economic analysis, valuation, and commercial strategy in the oil and gas sector.

Prior to joining Fifth Ocean, Debora held senior economist roles at Shell and Repsol, where she worked across governance, commercial, accounting, finance, and M&A. She has led valuations for several major Brazilian offshore fields, including Sapinhoá, Albacora, Lapa, Iara, and Gato do Mato, and has supported gas monetization strategies and complex commercial negotiations.

Debora specializes in translating technical and market inputs into robust financial models, business plans and investment decision frameworks.



She holds a master’s degree in business management from IBMEC and an accounting degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in Brazil.
